I am Albertine…

And if you love creating unique gifts for little ones, then I have a feeling you and I are going to get along very well 😉

Creativity, My Driving Force

I’ve been passionate about every kind of creative activity imaginable since childhood, and I’ve always loved making gifts for my loved ones myself. I especially remember sewing a little embroidered bunny — somewhat imperfectly, but with a lot of care — with the word “Mamie” on it. That Mother’s Day gift for my grandmother sat proudly beside her television for years — a good old CRT TV, of course — and I was incredibly proud of it.

A Passion That Kept Growing

In 2020, I launched my first YouTube channel dedicated to creative tutorials. From macramé and needle felting to sewing, Madame Albertine now has more than 25,000 subscribers! (Yes, I sometimes find that hard to believe too 😅).

While my macramé tutorials have been very popular, sewing holds a particularly special place in my heart. It helped me through the most difficult period of my life, an illness that everyone dreads. That’s when one thing became clear to me: I wanted to create a YouTube channel entirely dedicated to sewing, Sewing with Albertine.

Launching albertine-atelier.com

At 33, I decided to turn my passion into my profession by designing and selling baby sewing patterns on Etsy. That’s when you put your trust in me. And today, 2,300 sales later to customers around the world, I now offer my PDF sewing patterns on my own website, albertine-atelier.com. For me, it’s truly a childhood dream coming true.

It makes me genuinely happy to know that my patterns help you create unique gifts for the people you love!

What Matters Most to Me

At every stage of creating a pattern and its tutorial, my goal remains the same: to give you a clear, reassuring sewing experience, with instructions that are as precise as possible, so you can achieve a result you’re truly happy with.

Whether you’re making a baby bib, a baby lovey or a pacifier holder, I want you to feel proud of YOUR creation and for it to carry all the love you want to give to the people who matter most to you.

Warmly,
Albertine
