Unisex Baby Bloomers With or Without Straps
Suitable for both baby girls and boys, these bloomers can be made with optional removable, adjustable straps – the choice is yours! The elasticated waist and leg openings make them quick and easy to slip on while allowing baby to move freely, whatever the season. Their neat fit and gently gathered shape sit beautifully over a diaper for a timeless look.

Supplies You’ll Need
To sew these baby bloomers, you’ll need:
- 55 cm (21.7 in) of lightweight woven fabric, 140 cm (55 in) wide (cotton, linen blend, seersucker, etc.)
- 2 pieces of 5 mm (0.2 in) wide elastic, each measuring 👇
3 months: 26 cm (10.2 in) | 6 months: 28 cm (11 in) | 12 months: 30 cm (11.8 in) | 18 months: 32 cm (12.6 in) | 24 months: 34 cm (13.4 in) - 1 piece of 15 mm (0.6 in) wide elastic, measuring 👇
3 months: 46.5 cm (18.3 in) | 6 months: 49 cm (19.3 in) | 12 months: 52 cm (20.5 in) | 18 months: 54 cm (21.3 in) | 24 months: 56 cm (22 in) - 4 buttons, 17–18 mm (0.7 in) in diameter
